Visitors

Visitors / Orthodox Inquirers

We welcome visitors and inquires at Saints Michael and Gabriel’s Orthodox Church, especially since we are an English speaking Parish.

We encourage you to stay back after the prayer service to introduce yourself to our Parish Priest Fr Michal as well as Subdeacon Jason and other parishioners. We are interested in meeting you. Generally, there is fellowship in the hall after church services which usually includes tea, coffee and some light refreshments, we hope you can join us there also.

Note on Holy Communion

During Liturgy, Holy Communion is offered to Orthodox Christians who are in good standing and have prepared themselves beforehand. If you are unsure about approaching for Holy Communion, it is advised not to approach until you have spoken to the Priest outside of the prayer service.

Catechism Classes

For those interested in learning more about the Orthodox Faith, we hold Catechism classes where essential topics are covered including areas on Theology, Scripture and the Sacraments. It is during these classes where you are formally introduced to the Orthodox Faith. Do make your interest known to us, so that can will let you know when these sessions are available.
